Rare festal costume from Ios island. It consists of a white gossamer silk tunic with broad lace decoration, a skirt of luxurious silk material, a waistcoat and a long tight-fitting coat ("binisi"). The headgear ("kourli") is made up of a kerchief, a white silk shawl ("bolia") and a brown velvet bow, 18th century.
