Festal costume from Lemnos island. It consists of the breeches, a white cotton-silk tunic, a silk dress decorated with gold braid and black woolen fringes at the hem and a silk waistcoat. The headgear is made up of a red cap, a print kerchief and a fine head covering of linen ("machramas"), 18th century.
