Gold pocket watch. It was made in 1828-9 by the watchmaking firm, Bautte Fs & Cie in Geneva. The watch was a gift from the first governor Ioannis Kapodistrias to the Greek commander of the Greek War of Independence, Theodoros Kolokotronis. It bears the "Phoenix" (symbol of the renaissance of the Greek State (1828-1831)) and the initials of the Governor. Two ring stones and its key are hanging from its chain.
