It consists of an under-tunic with silk embroidery, a striped silk waistcoat ("mentenes"), the outer tunic with gold decoration, a pleated skirt of gold-weave silk material -the "kapchas", and a sleeveless cloak. The leather shoes ("mestia") and the velvet slippers emboidered with gold, complete the costume. The head is dressed with a white cotton kerchief, a red silk chin-strap ("kaptseli"), a white silk shawl ("bolia") and the head-cover ("ftas"), 18th century.
