Festal costume from Souli, Epirus. It consists of a white tunic ("pokamisso"), a gold-embroidered waistcoat ("kamdzela"), a fully embroidered woven apron, a black all-wool sleeveless coat ("sigouni"), knitted stockings and red leather ("tsarouchia") with pom-poms. The headgear consists of a knitted cap and a print kerchief. The buckle worn at the waist, earrings and breast jewellery complete the ensemble, 19th century.
