Sarakatsana's costume from Thrace. It consists of a white cotton tunic with embroidery on the sleeves, an embroidered jabot ("trachilia"), a pleated black dress ("segouna"), an apron, false sleeves ("broumanika"), a waistcoat ("tsamandani") and the belt ("zona"). The "bochos" (kerchief) is worn on the head while knitted woolen shoes ("kalpounia") are worn with the stockings ("tsourapia"), 19th century.
