Festal costume from Agia Anna, Euboea. It consists of a cotton tunic with embroidery at the hem, a silk jabot ("trachilia"), pure silk sleeves with lace, a velvet apron, a velvet girdle and a short white woven sleeveless coat ("sigouna"). The headgear consists of a red kerchief and a white shawl ("bolia"). The jewellery consists of gold earrings, a gold-chased necklace ("yordani") and a buckle of wire-work at the waist, 19th century.
