Bridal and festal costume from Thessaloniki, Macedonia. It consists of a red tunic (pokamisso), a red striped "kapchas", a silk dress with embroidery on the jabot, a "sayias" (coat), an apron and a red girdle. The headgear consists of the cap, a dark-colored kerchief and the "renta", a long fully embroidered band which surrounds it like a wreath, 19th century.
