Festal costume from Asia Minor. It consists of a silk tunic, silk breeches, a long straight gown ("kavadi"), a waistcoat and a striped silk apron. A large gossamer print kerchief is worn round the waist. The headgear consists of a small red fez with a kerchief wound round it, 19th century.
