Noblewoman's costume from Adrianople. It is made up of a finely woven white silk tunic with fine gold lace, a long dress with a train, a loose cloak of dark red velvet with dense embroidery worked in gold. The head is covered by a large gold-embroidered silk kerchief, 19th century.
