Festal costume from Almyros, Volos. It consists of a cotton tunic decorated with lace ("asprouda"), a striped silk tunic ("pokamisso") and a coat ("anteri"). A black woolen apron, embroidered with twisted gold braid forming the "tree of life", and the girdle are worn at the waist. The headgear consists of two cotton kerchiefs, the black one printed with decorated figures ("kokones") and the white one ("bambakela") with print decoration and silk lace.
