Noblewoman's costume from Veria, Macedonia. It consists of a pleated dress of black silk material, a pleated apron of the same material, a black waistcoat and the gold-embroidered "makrolebanto", a long cloak made of black felt with a standing collar. The head is covered by a small fez made of red and black velvet and decorated with black lace, fringes and pearls,19th century.
