Traditional costume from Kavakli, Eastern Thrace. It consists of a cotton tunic decorated with embroidery at the hem, a pleated black dress with embroidery at the hem and on the chest. A woven woolen girdle and an apron are worn at the waist. The head is covered by a stamped cotton kerchief, 19th century.
