Clock for fireplace, made of gilded bronze, accompanied by two candlesticks with two decorative brass statuettes. The theme of its decoration is inspired by the sculptural composition of T. Gechter (1833) and depicts the Battle of Poitiers (732 AD) between the leader of the Franks, Charles Martel, and the King of the Saracens. The clock mechanism was constructed by the watchmaking firm N. Charpentier. It belonged to the collection of King George I and dates after 1849.
