The National Historical Museum presents an original approach to the era of the Revolution of 1821

The National Historical Museum, in collaboration with a group of collectors and with the support of PLAYMOBIL, presents an original approach to the era of the Revolution of 1821.

The exhibition is designed and supervised by the curators of the Museum Natasa Kastriti (Art Historian), Panagiota Panariti (Archaeologist) and Rengina Katsimardou (Historian).

The collectors Giorgos Angelidis, Ntenis Vangopoulos, Angelos Giakoumatos and Vasiliki Fati worked for the construction of the dioramas. More than 1300 figures, accessories and other PLAYMOBIL elements have been used for their construction, which were either provided by the company or provided by them. The specially made figures depicting historical figures were designed and constructed by Stelios Mylonas, using material from his own collection.

The exhibition is accompanied by a bilingual (Greek-English) catalog.
